If you're looking for a bright red landscape addition, let this low-care rose-musician blow his horn. His brilliant scarlet colors of the long-lasting ruffled blossoms blare out against the disease-resistant glossy green foliage. Naturally compact and bushy, put him in the front row of your garden. Great in mass plantings. Good landscape performer.

This trumpet has smooth quick valves- Bach makes some of the best valves in the business and these valves are functioning great! All slides move freely and have just been lubricated. I must mention that one of the little bell braces has come loose(see picture#9) .

Here are some hints for getting yours to bloom Be patient. Like wisteria, seed-grown vines can take up to 10 years to bloom for the first time Give it plenty of sun -- trumpet vine loves to bask in the light Don't fertilize. Too much nitrogen in the soil will make it grow all leaves and no flowers.
  9. Shaktizragore says:
The trumpet vine (Campsis radicans) is a woody vine that produces orange to reddish, trumpet-shaped flowers. After planting, trumpet vines often don’t bloom for 3 to 5 years. The trumpet vine has to grow and mature before it is capable of flowering. There is nothing that can be done to force the vine to flower.
